Engineered to DIN3017, American Standards, and high-tensile pipeline utility specifications.
Connecting industries worldwide with robust, leakproof, and highly reliable connection systems.
Mika (Tianjin) Pipeline Technology Co., Ltd. is strategically situated in Tianjin, one of China's direct-controlled municipalities. Located at the maritime intersection of the One Belt One Road initiative, Tianjin operates as a premier international transportation hub, providing optimized logistics and streamlined supply-chain routing for domestic and export markets alike.
We develop and manufacture reliable, premium-grade pipe clamps that ensure non-leakage sealing. Our application sectors span automotive systems, air intakes, engine exhaust pipelines, heating systems, agricultural irrigation, and heavy industrial drainage. Under the guidance of our founder Mr. Zhang Di—who brings 15 years of industry-honed expertise—our enterprise continues to innovate in high-performance fastening technologies.
Analyzing global trends and technical innovations shaping modern connection systems.
Modern applications require raw materials that withstand extreme marine and chemical exposure. Transitioning from basic W1 carbon steel to premium W4 (AISI 304) and W5 (AISI 316) grades ensures exceptional durability, preventing oxidation and premature joint failure in acidic or alkaline environments.
In high-vibration and cyclic thermal systems, hose properties fluctuate. Spring-loaded T-bolt structures dynamically regulate changes in pressure, accommodating temperature swings while maintaining a constant radial clamping force to prevent leak paths.
Integration of precise torque-limiting worm drives prevents over-tightening. Modern factories utilize automated installation tools designed to clamp at designated thresholds, reducing material fatigue and optimizing pipeline longevity.
Across the globe, industrial infrastructure demands connections that guarantee high vibration resistance and leak-proof integrity. Standard worm-drive clamps fail under the cyclic thermal expansion of heavy machinery and industrial pipelines. This is why international procurement teams favor engineered Cheney designs. They provide uniform radial sealing pressure, maintaining system uptime across automotive assembly lines, agricultural irrigation networks, chemical processing facilities, and marine engines.
Leveraging automation, multi-site production, and rigid quality processes to ensure delivery reliability.
Through specialized investments, we automated our pressing, welding, and winding workflows. This increases output consistency while maintaining tight dimensional tolerances on all inner bands.
With our central plant in Tianjin, our second base in Hebei, and a third manufacturing facility established in Chongqing in 2024, our regional network mitigates logistics risks and guarantees prompt domestic and export supply lines.

Essential considerations for pipeline engineers, procurement managers, and systems designers.
A common misconception is using magnets to judge the quality of stainless steel clamps. Austenitic grades like 201, 301, 304, and 316 can be non-magnetic after heat treatment. However, producing high-strength clamps requires cold rolling. Cold rolling hardens the material and increases its tensile strength, which generates a magnetic response. Magnetism indicates high mechanical hardness and band strength, not inferior metal quality.
The galvanized layer on steel screws plays a vital lubricating role during installation. In DIN 3017 clamps, zinc-plated screws reduce thread friction. For non-plated screws, a wax compound is required. However, exposure to harsh shipping conditions can dry out wax lubricants, reducing clamping efficiency. We recommend galvanized steel screws to maintain consistent installation torque and reliable sealing pressure.
Spring-loaded T-bolt clamps are commonly used in heavy-duty truck coolant and charge air systems. The spring compensates for hose expansion and contraction. During installation, the spring must not be fully compressed. Over-tightening turns the spring into a solid spacer, preventing it from adjusting to thermal changes and causing premature hose damage.
Mika operates its own abrasive and tooling processing center managed by five senior engineers. We design, prototype, and manufacture custom stamping molds in-house.
