Our senior engineers share practical knowledge to help you select, install, and maintain pipe clamps correctly — maximizing performance and service life in your application.
Most clamps are made of austenitic stainless steel (201, 301, 304, 316). Customers often use magnets to detect quality — but magnetism actually indicates high hardness and high strength, not poor quality. Cold-rolling the material to meet hardness and tensile strength requirements naturally induces a magnetic field. This is a sign of proper manufacturing, not a defect.
The galvanized layer on carbon steel screws in DIN3017 clamps plays a critical lubricating role. Without zinc plating, wax compound must be used — but wax can dry out during transport or in harsh environments, reducing lubrication over time. For consistent, long-term performance, galvanized steel screws are always recommended.
T-bolt clamps with springs are used in heavy truck coolant and charge air systems. The spring mediates thermal expansion and contraction. Critical warning: never fully compress the spring end during installation. Doing so eliminates the spring's thermal compensation function, causes excessive fastening pressure on the hose, damages pipe fittings, and greatly reduces the service life of the fastening system.
Our factory maintains sufficient raw material inventory at all times, sourced exclusively from well-known domestic manufacturers with proven quality track records. Every incoming batch undergoes comprehensive testing before entering production.
Each batch is tested for: material composition, hardness, tensile force, and dimensional accuracy. Only materials that pass all four criteria are approved for the raw material warehouse — ensuring every finished product begins with verified, high-quality inputs.
