Premium connection hardware engineered to withstand demanding environments, direct from our certified manufacturing base
New Zealand’s industrial landscape demands unique structural integrity in pipeline connections. From the volcanic thermal areas of Rotorua and Taupo (requiring specialized materials that resist geothermal hydrogen sulfide corrosion) to the maritime-exposed ports of Auckland, Lyttelton, and Tauranga, the atmospheric salinity is exceptionally high. This environment rapidly degrades standard structural carbon steels, making the deployment of premium-grade, corrosion-resistant pipe clamps and hose fasteners a non-negotiable engineering standard.
Furthermore, New Zealand's dairy processing sector—championed by globally renowned dairy exporters—places stringent clean-in-place (CIP) and sanitary conditions on all pipeline support systems. Clamps used in these food processing facilities must not only provide leak-proof joints to eliminate bacterial harbor sites but also withstand continuous washdowns with harsh sanitizing chemicals. Our production standards align directly with these expectations, offering high-durability, smooth-band hose clamps that maintain physical integrity under constant thermal cycling and vibration.
Mika (Tianjin) Pipeline Technology Co., Ltd is located in Tianjin, one of the four municipalities directly under the central government of the People's Republic of China. As a strategic fulcrum of the maritime silk road and the intersection of the "One Belt and One Road" initiative, Tianjin serves as an international integrated transportation hub. This geological advantage ensures streamlined container logistics directly from Tianjin Port to major New Zealand sea entryways, including the Port of Tauranga and Ports of Auckland.
We provide reliable, high-performance pipe clamp products designed to guarantee non-leakage seals. Our application areas span key international industries: automotive engineering, military hardware components, air intake systems, engine exhaust systems, cooling and heating networks, agricultural irrigation systems, and municipal industrial drainage systems. Our core operations are run by a team of nearly 100 dedicated employees, driven by standard operations and detailed technical control.
Our founder, Mr. Zhang Di, possesses nearly 15 years of industry experience, constantly researching connection technologies and driving manufacturing innovation. Under his leadership, we have steadily expanded our manufacturing output, continually introducing advanced product categories. Our robust technical force, refined production processes, and high-precision tooling allow us to manufacture high-cost-performance products. Equipped with state-of-the-art testing machinery, we strictly monitor quality at every process stage, standardizing and systemizing our product quality management to guarantee ultimate reliability for global procurements.
Mika Pipeline Technology holds a series of independent design patents and utility model patents. Our hardware designs provide uniform radial sealing pressure, optimized clamping force distribution, and long-term structural resistance against environmental stress cracking. These elements give our clamps a competitive edge in global markets where material failures could lead to catastrophic downtime.
From our origins in precision tooling and mold manufacturing, we have systematically scaled our production capabilities. This evolution allows us to control the entire manufacturing lifecycle, from raw coil slitting to automated cold forming, ensuring tight dimensional tolerances across every batch of hose clamps and pipe couplings.

Understanding the metallurgy and mechanics of piping fasteners is essential for avoiding catastrophic structural failures. Below, our engineering team addresses common industry misconceptions about raw material selection and installation.
Many procurement specialists use magnets to check stainless steel quality. However, cold working austenitic alloys (201, 301, 304, 316) to achieve the tensile strength required for heavy-duty clamps naturally alters their microstructure, generating a mild magnetic response. High hardness and tensile strength are critical for a secure seal, and these values are only achieved through precise cold-rolling.
Galvanized layers on carbon steel screws provide critical lubrication during installation. If ungalvanized stainless steel fasteners are used, they require wax compound lubrication to prevent thread galling under high torque. Since dry wax can degrade during transit or in harsh outdoor environments, we recommend galvanized steel screws to maintain consistent installation torque values.
Commonly deployed in heavy transport coolant and charge air systems. The spring acts as a dynamic tensioner during thermal expansion and contraction. During installation, avoid fully compressing the spring. If bottomed out, it cannot absorb thermal movement, creating excessive pressure that can damage the hose and lead to premature failure.
