Engineered to deliver high sealing performance and uniform clamping force under extreme pressures and harsh environments.
Within the spectrum of heavy industrial supply chains, the 4 inch hose clamp serves as a critical structural node. Its 100mm+ diameter range is the benchmark standard for high-volume fluid logistics, exhaust gas control, and agricultural drainage networks. Global procurement managers from sectors including automotive engineering, chemical refining, wastewater facilities, and defense manufacturing demand more than just standard brackets; they require mechanical integrity that eliminates pipeline failure risks.
Mika Pipeline Technology addresses these critical needs. High-vibration environments, thermal expansions (especially in cooling and exhaust systems), and extreme galvanic corrosion challenges require bespoke solutions. An off-the-shelf product cannot withstand the dynamic stress loads of a turbodiesel air intake system or the corrosive environment of offshore marine operations. By offering customizable options across the W1 (all carbon steel) to W5 (all 316 marine-grade stainless steel) specifications, we ensure every fluid transfer system retains seal integrity, even under shifting pressure thresholds.
Our pipeline technology resolves connection challenges across various sectors worldwide. Explore our engineered application areas below.
True expertise lies in the details. Learn how metallurgy, torque distribution, and engineering design ensure structural longevity.
A common misconception is that magnetism indicates poor stainless steel quality. The opposite is true. While austenitic grades such as 201, 301, 304, and 316 can be completely non-magnetic after initial annealing, they require cold rolling to achieve high tensile strengths. This process increases hardness while creating a structural magnetic field. Our high-pressure 4-inch clamps preserve this hardness to prevent material fatigue.
Galvanized plating on carbon steel screws serves two purposes: preventing rust and providing lubrication. For unplated stainless steel screws, we utilize a specialized wax compound to reduce thread friction and prevent galling. Plating is recommended for carbon steel components to ensure consistent torque transfer during installation.
Used widely in high-vibration truck coolants and charge air lines, T-bolt spring clamps dynamically adapt to thermal expansion. Installers must avoid over-tightening the spring to its solid state. A fully compressed spring loses its ability to absorb thermal shock, which can result in hose damage and premature seal failure.
Mika operates a dedicated engineering center staffed by 8 technicians, including 5 senior design engineers. We design and manufacture our own stamping dies to control tolerances. Our capabilities allow us to customize band widths, thickness profiles, and housing configurations to match your system specs.
From chemical analysis of raw materials to final torque testing, we maintain quality standards at every step of production. Our facility features advanced testing instruments to verify tensile limits, seal uniformity, and salt spray resistance.
Based in Tianjin, a strategic maritime hub at the intersection of the Belt and Road, we supply precision-engineered connection technology to global markets.
Founded as the Jinchaoyang Mould Company in 2002, our business transitioned to specialized connection technology in 2016. Today, Mika designs and manufactures premium-grade pipe clamps, wire rope clips, and heavy-duty V-band coupling systems.
