Explore our high-integrity connection systems designed to prevent leakage in low to high-pressure environments.
Headquartered in Tianjin—a pivotal international integrated transportation hub and strategic node on the Maritime Silk Road—Mika Pipeline Technology has established itself as an engineering pioneer in fluid connection and structural pipeline coupling systems.
We engineer high-reliability, zero-leakage hose clips for critical industrial applications, including automotive OEM assembly, defense manufacturing, intake/exhaust systems, municipal thermal infrastructure, agricultural micro-irrigation, and heavy-duty maritime drainage. Under the direction of our founder, Mr. Zhang Di, who brings 15 years of industry experience, our company continuously advances connection safety through standard standardization and customized solutions.
Mika holds a portfolio of design and utility model patents. Our specialized narrow band clamps deliver uniform torque distribution and consistent radial force.
The Paradox of Magnetism in Stainless Steel Fasteners
A common point of confusion is using magnets to evaluate stainless steel clamp grades. Many believe that if a clamp attracts a magnet, it is of low quality. The opposite is true. Austenitic grades like 201, 301, 304, and 316 are non-magnetic in their annealed state. However, to achieve the tensile strength and band hardness required for leak-free clamping under high pressure, these metals must undergo cold rolling.
Cold rolling changes the crystal structure of the steel, inducing martensitic transformation. This process creates a magnetic signature but gives the band the tensile strength required to hold its torque.
Narrow Band Advantages:
Narrow bands (e.g., 9mm or smaller) concentrate radial clamping force on a smaller surface area, producing higher contact pressure than wider bands at the same installation torque. This configuration is ideal for low-durometer or silicone hose materials that require deep sealing contact without high torque loads.
Thread friction plays a key role in clamp performance. In DIN3017 clamps, zinc plating on carbon steel screws serves as a dry lubricant.
Without zinc plating, a wax-based alternative is required. However, wax can degrade under high transit temperatures or long storage times, leading to thread galling and reduced clamping force. For reliable performance, we recommend zinc-plated carbon steel or engineered wax lubricants on all stainless-steel screws.

Mika sourcess raw materials from top-tier domestic manufacturers. Every delivery undergoes strict testing before acceptance into our raw material warehouses.
We inspect raw materials for dimension accuracy, chemical composition, tensile strength, and hardness. Testing raw material properties ensures our finished clamps meet design specifications.
With 8 staff technicians, including 5 senior pipeline engineers, Mika operates a fully-equipped in-house mold and tooling center.
This capability allows us to design tooling, adjust manufacturing setups, and quickly produce custom clamps for specific customer requirements.
Spring-loaded T-bolt clamps are commonly used in heavy truck cooling and charge air networks. The integrated spring acts as a tension compensator, contracting and expanding to maintain clamping force as thermal cycles change system dimensions.
Critical Installation Warning:
Avoid bottoming out the spring during installation. Tightening the spring completely flat compromises the clamp's performance:
